INVENTOR is 4 lb lower than when gaining his breakthrough success at Tipperary last spring, and he is appealing here on the back of a creditable recent effort at Limerick where the trip (6.7f) appeared to stretch him. Talking Tough's strike rate is poor, but he merits respect back down in trip here following a decent effort over a mile at Limerick. Fit For Function needs to bounce back, but he'll be a threat if able to do so off this reduced mark.
