CAPTAIN SQUARE, a fair maiden on the Flat, failed to meet expectations dropped into a seller last time, but he still has relatively few miles on the clock and may not need to improve on that form much to make a successful start over hurdles. Alphonse Le Grande is of a similar standard to the selection on the level, so must enter calculations, while Beerenberg isn't without hope, either.
