13/8

Successful three times over hurdles in 2021 and good second back from a break at Wincanton in March. Followed that with a rather flat display at Market Rasen (20.6f), but he'll be a danger to all if getting into a good rhythm jumping-wise on this chase debut.

Zoffalee^t³³

Age: 7| Weight: 11-3| J: Jack Hogan⁽⁷⁾| T: M E Sowersby| OR: 112

7/2

Multiple hurdles winner in Ireland who is yet to taste success over fences (0-10 in this sphere). Best effort since joining present yard when runner-up over 25.8f here last month and repeat of that would give him a fighting chance.

Form: 3PU3-32

Captain Ivan^p,t¹⁴

Age: 8| Weight: 11-2| J: Adam Wedge| T: L Morgan| OR: 111

11/10

Maiden/novice winner over timber for Johnny Farrelly last summer. Runner-up all three starts since joining this yard, including switched to fences the last twice (latterly over 15.8f here in first-time cheekpieces), and should give another good account.

Form: 116-222

Forecasts

Captain Ivan (11/10), Salley Gardens (13/8), Floating Rock (9/4), Zoffalee (7/2)

CAPTAIN IVAN is the one most likely to cut out the running and he may well be the answer having finished clear of the rest when second off this mark in a four-runner affair here a fortnight ago. A repeat of Zoffalee's latest effort would see him involved in the finish and he gets the nod ahead of chase-debutant Salley Gardens for forecast purposes.
