Winless for some time but better with each outing from his easing mark this term, good fourth of 12 in handicap at Redcar (10f, good, 15/2) 12 days ago, rallying until close home. Can go well again despite widest draw.
Winless since 2019 and despite operating from a career-low mark made only late headway to finish 6 lengths third over 1m at Redcar 2 weeks ago. Visor needs to have positive effect now stepping back up in trip.
Temperamental sort. Twenty four runs since last win in 2019. Respectable sixth of 13 in handicap at this course (8.4f, good to firm, 10/1) 35 days ago, plugging on. Eased further 2 lb since if he can put his best foot forward.
One win from 24 Flat runs. Creditable fifth of 10 in handicap (11/1) at Hamilton (9.2f, good) 20 days ago, doing well to finish as close as she did given the ground she forfeited at the start. Entitled to be sharper for that and claims provided she starts better here.
Sole success from 27 starts gained over 8.5f here last summer. Mixed bag on AW/turf since but he does arrive here on the back of a solid second at Newcastle (10f) 3 weeks ago. Possibilities with a repeat in a trappy affair.
Shed maiden tag over C&D last summer and went close on 2 occasions thereafter at around 1¼m. Arguably did too much too soon when eighth of 12 over C&D in April and no forlorn hope operating 2 lb below last winning mark.
One win from 26 Flat runs. 5/1, 10¼ lengths sixth of 9 to Iron Sheriff in minor event at this course (8.4f, good to soft) when last seen in September. Possible this run will be needed on the back of 9 months off.
Nearer last than first on each of her first 7 starts in Ireland and still only managed poor form when 5 lengths fifth of 13 in a Dundalk handicap (10.7f) when last seen in November. Starts out for new yard here.
Remains a maiden after 30 Flat runs. 50/1, third of 9 in handicap at Pontefract (10f, good) 8 days ago, leading around 1f out and headed last ½f. No sure thing to be in the same form here, though.

Forecasts
Wild Thunder (6/4), Dr Rio (18/5), Jackamundo (6/1), Iron Sheriff (13/2), Le Bayou (8/1), Dandy's Angel (11/1), Violette Szabo (25/1), Gloryella (28/1), Milltown Lily (50/1)
None of these find winning easy but IRON SHERIFF dropped a hint his turn may be imminent again when runner-up at Newcastle 3 weeks ago and, returned to the scene of his sole previous victory, he can strike from a handy draw. Dr Rio, who ran well at Redcar recently, and Le Bayou head up the dangers, along with Dandy's Angel.
