D'jango^b,t³⁴

Age: 9| Weight: 12-0| J: Philip Armson⁽⁵⁾| T: D Pipe| OR: 100| D

9/2

Once-useful chaser in France. Not close to that level for new yard (mainly over hurdles) and he was readily brushed aside at Plumpton last month.

Form: F5262-6

Bonanza Sam^p³⁴

Age: 9| Weight: 11-5| J: J E Moore| T: C Gordon| OR: 91

4/1

Chase winner from 2 lb higher in blinkers during his time with Jennifer Mason. Sound-enough start for this yard following an absence at Plumpton last month and no surprise were he to build on that.

Form: 016/3P-4

Monty's Award²⁰

Age: 10| Weight: 11-5| J: Page Fuller| T: A Irvine| OR: 91| C| D

18/1

Two wins in 2020/21 but lost his way last season and always behind at Fakenham 3 weeks ago. Cheekpieces removed on first hurdles start since 2019.

Form: 7P80B-6

Cardboard Gangster¹⁰⁴

Age: 7| Weight: 11-3| J: Kielan Woods| T: D J Jeffreys| OR: 89

11/2

Remains a maiden and he's hard to warm to on the back of a poor effort at Hereford in February. Headgear removed.

Form: 32365P-

Writteninthesand^t²⁸

Age: 8| Weight: 11-1| J: J J Burke| T: T R George| OR: 87| D

9/1

Scored over fences at Market Rasen in August but heavy defeats over larger obstacles last 3 starts since and lots to prove back hurdling.

Form: 12UP7-8

Cuchaviva³⁸

Age: 6| Weight: 10-13| J: Ben Ffrench-Davis⁽⁷⁾| T: D J S Ffrench Davis| OR: 85

50/1

Lightly raced and limited impact in various company. Handicap debut.

Form: 89/PP3-5

Lindisfarne^t³¹

Age: 7| Weight: 10-7| J: Tabitha Worsley⁽³⁾| T: R Walford| OR: 79

13/8

Upped in trip and much more like it switched to a handicap when second of 16 here a month ago. Stuck to the task well, suggesting this trip will be within range.

Form: 0/P874-2

Hartland Quay^b,t⁵⁶

Age: 7| Weight: 10-2| J: David Noonan| T: N J Hawke| OR: 70

20/1

Pretty exposed and unseated rider over fences before stamina for 25.8f was asked in April. 2 lb out of the weights.

Form: 438P7U-

Non-Runners

Thirsty Farmer²¹

Weight: 10-8| Age: 8

T: R G Hawker J: Sean Houlihan

Forecasts

Lindisfarne (13/8), Thirsty Farmer (15/8), Bonanza Sam (4/1), D'jango (9/2), Cardboard Gangster (11/2), Writteninthesand (9/1), Monty's Award (18/1), Hartland Quay (20/1), Cuchaviva (50/1)

LINDISFARNE left his qualifying runs well behind when second in a big-field handicap here a month ago, and with this trip expected to be within range, he could be the answer. Thirsty Farmer landed a few bets at Stratford 3 weeks ago and should give it a good go, with Bonanza Sam another to consider.
