Modest form in bumpers and similar form over hurdles, again let down by his jumping when fourth at Bangor 26 days ago. Will likely be of more interest when tackling handicaps at longer distances.

Placed a couple of times in a tongue tie over 7f on the Flat but went with no promise sent hurdling on first outing for new yard at Musselburgh in November.

Form: P-

Desert Pioneer²¹⁹

Age: 4| Weight: 10-11| J: Nick Scholfield| T: P & J Clutterbuck

18/1

€20,000 3-y-o, £6,000 4-y-o, Ol' Man River gelding. Dam, well beaten sole start in bumper, sister to useful hurdler/fairly useful chaser (stayed 3m) Augherskea. Made frame both starts in points (latest May 8).

Form: 4-3

No Recollection⁵⁴

Age: 4| Weight: 10-11| J: Tom Cannon| T: A King

Fairly useful handicapper on Flat, stays 1¼m. Down the field last time but goes hurdling in a weak race with yard in good form and looks the one to beat.

Form:

20/1

Fair performer on the Flat for Mark Johnston, winner of 11.6f Bath handicap in September. Sold for £22,000 and gelded but has shown nothing both starts over hurdles.

Sweet Dime²²

Age: 6| Weight: 10-9| J: Chris Ward⁽⁵⁾| T: A Forbes

22/1

Half-sister to useful hurdler Discovery Bay (2m winner, by Dansili). Fair on Flat, stays 12.5f but has run to just a poor level both starts over timber.

Form: 6-6

Forecasts

Maillot Blanc (15/8), No Recollection (2/1), Larusso (7/2), Haveyougotmymoney (18/1), Lough Carra (18/1), Reams Of Love (20/1), Sweet Dime (22/1), Desert Pioneer (28/1), Willcollins (50/1), Spidersteve (80/1), Gealach Ghorm (125/1), Ben Asker (125/1)

NO RECOLLECTION is a fairly useful performer on the Flat who makes his hurdling debut in a weak race, so his claims are crystal clear, especially with his stable in excellent form. Maillot Blanc is feared most back down in grade ahead of Larusso.
