Tokaramore^p³²

Age: 10| Weight: 11-12| J: Miss Alisa McClung⁽⁷⁾| T: I Jardine| OR: 96| C

15/2

Good second to an upwardly mobile rival back in this sphere here in March, but she wasn't in the same form at Ayr (20.4f, good) next time. Bounce back needed.

Form: 11672-7

West Lawn²⁴

Age: 6| Weight: 11-1| J: Mr John Dawson| T: J Walton| OR: 85| CD

4/1

Relished the step up to 23.3f when opening her account over C&D in March but well held both subsequent starts. Needs to get back on track.

Form: 59414-5

Olympus^v¹

Age: 4| Weight: 11-0| J: Miss Becky Smith| T: Mrs A Duffield| OR: 93

6/1

Down the field on the Flat on stable debut in March. Showed a bit more tackling a longer trip in first-time cheekpieces over C&D next time but disappointing since.

Form: 534-P

Grannie Annie^p1²⁶

Age: 5| Weight: 10-12| J: Mr Matthew Ennis⁽³⁾| T: A Keatley| OR: 82

22/1

Thrice-raced maiden who improved on debut form when sixth in a Southwell maiden in April but failed to back that potentially dubious effort up there last time. Cheekpieces go on for handicap debut.

Form: 66-6

Fraterculus^p,t²¹

Age: 5| Weight: 10-10| J: Toby Wynne⁽³⁾| T: O Greenall & J Guerriero| OR: 80

3/1

Not disgraced in first-time blinkers when fourth of 13 in handicap chase at Uttoxeter (22.5f, good) 21 days ago. Ran respectably from 5 lb higher on latest hurdle start, so needs considering back in this sphere.

Form: 43343-4

Frankies Fire²¹

Age: 9| Weight: 10-2| J: Joshua Thompson⁽⁷⁾| T: J Walton| OR: 69| C

11/2

Multiple point winner, including last time, but others preferred back under Rules.

Form: 2U1P-P1

Dorothy's Flame^p¹⁸

Age: 10| Weight: 10-2| J: Mr James Waggott⁽⁷⁾| T: J C Haynes| OR: 68

50/1

Poor maiden hurdler who looks set for another struggle.

Form: 8P55-PP

Forecasts

Fraterculus (3/1), Bird On The Wire (7/2), West Lawn (4/1), Frankies Fire (11/2), Olympus (6/1), Tokaramore (15/2), Grannie Annie (22/1), Dorothy's Flame (50/1)

BIRD ON THE WIRE resumed his progress behind an interesting pair over C&D recently, so he has to the considered the one to beat under a good value amateur fitted with first-time cheekpieces. Fraterculus has been given a chance by the handicapper back over hurdles and is feared most, ahead of West Lawn.
