10/1

Impressed when opening hurdles account at Huntingdon (20.6f) in January 2020. Largely struggled since but stopped the slide to some extent when third in this headgear at Southwell. Makes chase debut.

Lamanver Storm^p,t1⁴⁷

Age: 7| Weight: 11-12| J: Stan Sheppard| T: T Lacey| OR: 103

11/1

Has an unconvincing profile but was in the process of running his best race over fences when falling 2 out at Carlisle 7 weeks ago. Tongue strap on 1st time.

Form: 62P/9PF-

Go All The Way^b⁵⁵

Age: 8| Weight: 10-8| J: Charlie Hammond| T: Dr R D P Newland| OR: 85| BF

3/1

Long-standing maiden for Francis Flood in Ireland and failed to justify support on first start for this yard when third at Fontwell 8 weeks ago. However, ground was fast that day so may be worth another chance with headgear re-fitted.

Form: P09F53-

Clear On Top^t²⁸

Age: 6| Weight: 10-3| J: J J Burke| T: T R George| OR: 80

9/2

No better than mid-field in bumpers/over hurdles but showed improved form on third chase start when second at Huntingdon 4 weeks ago, albeit seen to good effect from the front.

Form: 70944-2

Our Idic Boy^t⁷⁰

Age: 8| Weight: 10-3| J: B S Hughes| T: Ian Williams| OR: 80| BF| D

11/4

Off mark in handicap hurdle at Newcastle in November and has run well since, showing aptitude for chasing when third at Huntingdon 70 days ago. Tongue strap back on. Open to improvement in this sphere.

Form: 4/41223-

Oceans Red^p²⁶

Age: 6| Weight: 10-2| J: Toby Wynne⁽⁷⁾| T: O Greenall & J Guerriero| OR: 79| BF| D

3/1

Stepped up markedly from chase debut when opening account in novice handicap at Bangor (3m). Proved a let-down at Warwick next time, however.

Form: P7431-6

Forecasts

Our Idic Boy (11/4), Oceans Red (3/1), Go All The Way (3/1), Clear On Top (9/2), I'm A Starman (7/1), Toad Of Toad Hall (8/1), Sermando (10/1), Lamanver Storm (11/1)

TOAD OF TOAD HALL left his previous form behind when just failing to peg back a subsequent winner at Fontwell on chase bow 4 weeks ago under this rider and can go one place better. The main threat could be Our Idic Boy, who showed an aptitude for chasing when third at Huntingdon and is open to improvement based on his hurdles form.
