Tricky customer but produced a career best when returning from 6-month break to score at Cheltenham last time, though idled badly on the run-in. More required from 4 lb higher.

Useful form last summer, including when winning at Aintree in June. Below par on last 2 runs but weighted into contention after 6-month break.

Arrives here off the back of a hat-trick at wins at Chepstow, last time in a novice hunter chase. 15 lb higher than on last handicap start but he's getting better with each recent run and is the one to beat in bid for 4-timer.

Won at Worcester last summer and proved he could compete from higher marks when second at Ludlow on penultimate outing. This looks tougher opposition than usual for him, though.

Forecasts

Gats And Co (6/5), The Bull Mccabe (3/1), Cape Robin (4/1), Ruthless Article (9/2)

Verdict

The thriving GATS AND CO looks very hard to oppose in his bid to land a 4-timer. The Bull McCabe is a generally untrustworthy customer but he will pose the biggest threat if in the same form as when winning at Cheltenham last time, whilst Ruthless Article is prefereed to Cape Robin for third.
