Point winner/Smart hurdler. One win from 3 runs last season. Creditable fifth of 17 in handicap hurdle (14/1) at Fairyhouse (16f, good to soft) 45 days ago, running on. Interesting now attentions are switched to chasing.
Lightly-raced maiden. Tenth of 13 in novice hurdle at this course (17.1f, good, 50/1) 28 days ago. Makes chase debut. Very difficult to make a case for.
Low-mileage, fairly useful hurdles winner who confirmed promise of his chase debut effort in November second of 4 in novice chase at Wexford (16f, good to soft) 17 days ago. Makes plenty of appeal
Thrice-raced maiden. Fourteenth of 18 in novice hurdle at Limerick (21f, good to soft, 250/1) 54 days ago. Makes chase debut.
Fairly useful hurdler. Thirteen runs since last win in 2018. Last of 5 in minor event chase (100/1) at Killarney (23f, good to soft) 16 days ago. Back down in trip.
Fair winner at 2m over hurdles. Tenth of 13 in novice chase (50/1) at this C&D (good) on debut over fences 28 days ago. Best watched at present.
Useful hurdler. Two wins from 2 runs last season. Career best when winning 20-runner handicap hurdle at Galway (21f, good to soft, 16/1). Off 10 months. Makes chase debut.
Smart hurdler who landed Grade 3 at Tipperary in July before good eighth of 20 to Saldier in Galway Hurdle. Well held in Grade 2 final start in November but has to be of interest now chasing on return.
Fairly useful hurdler. 66/1, below form fifteenth of 24 in handicap hurdle at Punchestown (19.1f, soft) 31 days ago. Makes chase debut.
Promising sort. Winner in hurdle at Limerick in February. 10/3, sixth of 8 in novice chase at Killarney (20f, good to soft) on debut over fences 16 days ago. Likely to improve.

Forecasts
Sole Pretender (7/4), Genois (2/1), Eskylane (9/4), Wouldn't You Agree (12/1), Mi Lighthouse (16/1), Shanwalla (28/1), Pythion (100/1), Magnium (100/1), First Earl (200/1), Kaytana (250/1)
Some potential on show here and with the benefit of a solid return effort over hurdles under his belt, ESKYLANE could be the answer. Gordon Elliott's charge developed into a smart sort over timber and having tasted success between the flags earlier in his career, he could be the way to go. Sole Pretender, another smart sort over hurdles, and Genois, who has showed promise already in this sphere head up the dangers.
