Seddon²⁶

Age: 9| Weight: 11-4| J: Adrian Heskin| T: H Whittington| OR: 130| CD

9/4

Useful hurdler and doubled career tally over fences in 5-runner handicap at Newton Abbot in April. Failed to convince with his stamina for 25.8f at that venue last time and quickly back in trip.

Form: 15721-3

Fire Away^t,v¹⁸

Age: 9| Weight: 11-3| J: Adam Wedge| T: L Morgan| OR: 129| CD

5/2

Useful chaser who has a terrific strike rate since joining this stable, making it 6 wins in much calmer waters back over hurdles at Southwell (20.4f) in April. Well held at Perth since but he's much better over fences.

Form: 1P501-P

Forecasts

Seddon (9/4), Fire Away (5/2), Brotherly Company (10/3), Eritage (10/3), Manofthemountain (4/1)

FIRE AWAY is a much better chaser so it would come as no surprise were he to cast aside a lesser effort over the smaller obstacles last time and cash in on his handy mark (won this race a year ago from the same rating). Brotherly Company and Eritage won last time and head the opposition in a trappy race.
