15/2, built on a couple of solid placed efforts to get off the mark in 7-runner handicap at Salisbury (12f, good) 16 days ago, leading final 1f. Up 5 lb but this progressive colt warrants considerable respect.

AW winner over 1m on final juvenile start and better form when second of7 on reappearance/handicap debut at Newcastle in March. Unable to make much of a splash in listed Oaks Trial at Lingfield 3 weeks ago but may get back on track here.
Relished the step up to 1½m when winning 4-runner at Wolverhampton (12.2f) in January and he probably need the outing when finishing a well-beaten fourth at Leicester (turf debut) last month. Fifth of 8 in a strong York handicap since and he's worth another chance from a mark of 79.
Showed much improved form on first outing since leaving Mark Johnston when second of 10 in handicap at this course (9.9f, good to firm, 16/1) 18 days ago, just failing. Up in trip and fancied to be on the premises once again.
Has returned an improved performer, winning handicaps at Catterick (7f) and Redcar (1m) last month. A bit outclassed against a significantly higher grade of opponent at York since but he may well feature if he stays this longer trip.
Winner at Wolverhampton in December. Fourth of 7 in handicap at Windsor (11.4f, good to firm, 16/1) 12 days ago, never nearer. Shouldn't be too far away, but looks vulnerable from a win point of view all the same.

Forecasts
Noonie (9/4), Achnamara (5/2), Udaberri (9/2), Nikhi (15/2), Ha Long Bay (8/1), Alphonse Le Grande (11/1)
A tricky contest to unravel despite the small field but preference is ACHNAMARA. Charlie & Mark Johnston's charge relished the step up to 1½m when bolting up at Wolverhampton in January and, while he's been below that level on both outings on turf since, he could prove tough to peg back if allowed to get his own way out in front here. Udaberri shades the vote for the forecast spot over Noonie.
