Awesomedude^t³⁴³

Age: 6| Weight: 11-4| J: T Scudamore| T: D Pipe

10/3

Most progressive on the Flat for James Ferguson in 2020, completing a 5-timer. Fair efforts over hurdles a year ago while not jumping too fluently. Returns in a winnable maiden and leading claims.

Poor maiden. No appeal in this company.

Retrospect^t1¹⁷

Age: 5| Weight: 11-4| J: Sam Twiston-Davies| T: Dr R D P Newland| D

14/1

Fair stayer on the level. Shaped as if better for the run after 7 months off on hurdles debut at Hexham 17 days ago. Tongue tie on now but needs a big step forward and handicaps might be more his bag.

Form: 5

Grand Revival^v1⁵⁶

Age: 4| Weight: 10-12| J: J M Quinlan| T: N B King| OR: 105

6/1

Flat winner in Ireland but profile over hurdles patchy. New yard in form and he could take a hand.

Patient Dream^h,t²⁸

Age: 4| Weight: 10-12| J: Craig Nichol| T: O Greenall & J Guerriero| OR: 105

11/8

Useful on the Flat and has shown a fair bit over hurdles, going clear for a long way in first-time tongue tie (after wind op) in novice handicap at Worcester 4 weeks ago. Big shout.

Form: 29403-

Right Turn^t⁵²

Age: 4| Weight: 10-12| J: S Bowen| T: O MurphyWS

4/1

Fairly useful maiden on the Flat. Offered something to work on making hurdling debut after 5 months off for new yard at Stratford 7 weeks ago and should have come on for that.

Form: 4-

Vina Bay^p1¹⁸

Age: 4| Weight: 10-12| J: R Patrick| T: M Scudamore| BF

14/1

Fairly useful AW handicapper on Flat (gambled on and back on track on first start since leaving Sylvester Kirk 18 days ago). Cheekpieces go on and got to be respected now hurdling.

Form:

Belle Na Bann¹⁹⁸

Age: 6| Weight: 10-11| J: Adam Wedge| T: N P Mulholland

80/1

Modest form only start in bumper for Paul Traynor and no impact in pair of maiden hurdles. First run for 6 months.

Forecasts

Patient Dream (11/8), Awesomedude (10/3), Right Turn (4/1), Barenboim (11/2), Grand Revival (6/1), Retrospect (14/1), Vina Bay (14/1), Belle Na Bann (80/1), Fast Deal (300/1)

PATIENT DREAM ran well back down in class in a Worcester handicap 4 weeks ago and has a good shout if repeating that performance back in a maiden. Awesomedude should go well on his return if jumping better, while 3-time AW Flat winner Vina Bay could be a big player on his hurdles debut if taking to turf.
