In fine form over hurdles last summer, winning back to events at Uttoxter/Newton Abbot. Matched his hurdles form at first attempt when second at Warwick on chase bow 2 weeks ago and entitled to build on that. Obvious claims back down in class.

Just respectable efforts at best over hurdles last season and not an obvious chasing type.

French bumper winner who didn't shape badly starting out for new connections when fourth in a Wincanton maiden hurdle and built on that at the second attept when runner-up in handicap there 8 weeks ago. Interesting chasing debutant.

Forecasts

Ragamuffin (13/8), Gambie Tiep (3/1), Above Suspicion (4/1), Pawpaw (13/2), Begoodtoyourself (10/1)

Verdict

RAGAMUFFIN is a consistent type who took well to this sphere when runner-up at Warwick 2 weeks ago so has solid claims. Gambie Tiep looks an interesting chasing debutant and can give the selection most to think about.
