Useful sort got off the mark over the fences when beating Ask A Honey Bee in a match at Catterick in March. Concedes weight all round but promises to be at his best over staying trips and holds strong claims.
Fair hurdler made the placings on first 2 chase starts at Tramore and Wexford but pulled up on each of his last 2 outings and now isn't the easiest to have faith in after a break.
Only one piece of modest form across 3 novice hurdles starts and he's very hard to fancy making chase debut in this company.
Beaten at odds-on on both chase starts to date but shaped like the best horse when runner-up at Kilbeggan 20 days ago, the race lost with a slow jump at the last. Up in trip here but remains likely to improve.

Forecasts
Brave Way (11/10), Champagnesuperover (5/4), Champagne Sparkles (6/1), Our Ted (80/1)
CHAMPAGNESUPEROVER at least matched his novice hurdling form over fences last season, but the suspicion remains that he can prove even better over staying trips and he can prove up to the task of conceding weight to his rivals here. Brave Way surely has more to come and looks the obvious danger, whilst Champagne Sparkles is clearly preferred for third.
