Fair in bumpers for Kim Bailey but has to yet to build on a promising first run over hurdles for this yard, not helping his cause by jumping left when well-held fourth in Southwell handicap latest.
Showed ability on the second of 3 qualifying runs in recent weeks. Handicap debut.
Didn't show much in Ireland last summer and pulled up in Stratford selling hurdle for new yard in March. Has a fair bit to prove.
Fair winning hurdler/chaser for Elizabeth Doyle in Ireland but didn't cut much ice over fences for this yard last autumn. Could only consider if backed returned to hurdles after a break.
Ex-Irish hurdler who landed a Wexford maiden in 2020. Easing in the weights without looking ready to take advantage.
Point winner. Only modest form in bumpers/novice hurdles under Rules but it's possible he'll fare better in handicaps. Market support worth noting.
Modest hurdler but he has offered a bit of encouragement when twice reaching the frame in handicaps for new yard this spring. Might be the answer.
Dual point winner but yet to get competitive over hurdles, including on 19.5f Chepstow handicap debut last month. Improvement will be needed.
Has hinted in recent starts that he has it in him to be competitive off his current mark, particularly if he settles better, pulling hard and weakening into fourth at Huntingdon latest.
Long-standing maiden on Flat/over hurdles in Ireland much earlier in his career. Has won in points since but no show on his completed start in handicap hurdles for new trainer last month.
Won Hereford novice handicap at the start of 2021 and back in better form for new trainer when placed on his last 2 outings. One to consider.
Big improver when completing a hat-trick last autumn but he dropped away tamely on his return from a break at Southwell last month.
Landed small field maiden hurdle in Jersey last August and competitive in handicap hurdles over here later in 2021. including runner-up twice. Contender if ready to roll after a break.
Ffos Las winner at the start of 20201 but has rarely threatened to add to his tally since, including well held on the Flat last month. Others are more obvious.
Little promise in maiden/novice hurdles this spring. Has a basement mark to work with now handicapping but would need to see market support to consider.
Had a wind op and put some disappointing efforts behind her when second in handicap chase at Wincanton in December. However, has failed to back it up in a chase/hurdle since.

Just Go For It (4/1), Post No Bills (4/1), Masterdream (6/1), Sir Jack West (6/1), Gibberwell (8/1), Lil Codey (10/1), Ten Past Midnight (11/1), Poet's Corner (11/1), Ben Buie (12/1), The Wire Flyer (16/1), Harde Fashion (18/1), Lindisfarne (28/1), Lets Go Dutchess (28/1), Christopher Robin (33/1), Lighthouse Mill (40/1), Blaze A Trail (40/1), Le Figaro Faoudel (100/1), Holy Water (125/1)
In a big-field finale where few arrive with compelling claims the vote goes the way of LIL CODEY who has performed with credit in handicaps since joining Nigel Hawke. Just Go For It and Masterdream, who returns from a break, are others to consider. Poet's Corner is a handicap newcomer to keep an eye on in the betting.
- Lil Codey10/1
- Masterdream6/1
