Age: 7| Weight: 11-12| J: Jonjo O'Neill Jr.| T: J & A O'Neill| OR: 120| CD

5/1

Dual C&D winner last summer. Not at best when last seen in the autumn but good course record affords him respect back from a break.

Percy's Word¹⁸⁰

Age: 8| Weight: 11-12| J: Harry Skelton| T: D Skelton| OR: 120| D

11/4

Useful stayer on Flat and finally came good over hurdles at the end of last summer, winning maiden/novices at Stratford. Also runner-up over C&D on this mark in September. One to consider on this return to action.

Form: 211220-

Samba Dancer¹⁸⁰

Age: 7| Weight: 11-8| J: P J Brennan| T: F O'Brien| OR: 116| D

11/4

Progressed well early season, completing the hat-trick in a 16.5f handicap at Cheltenham in October. Shaped better than the result when down the field back there a month later and could resume progress now returning from a break. On the shortlist.

Form: 521110-

Wewillgowithplanb³¹¹

Age: 5| Weight: 11-6| J: Harry Bannister| T: R Bandey| OR: 114| D

3/1

Ended his time in Ireland with a 2m Tramore maiden hurdle win last July. Interesting now handicapping for a new stable, particularly if the betting vibes are strong.

Form: 4/881-

First Quest^p,t²⁸

Age: 8| Weight: 11-5| J: Hugh Nugent⁽³⁾| T: N P Mulholland| OR: 113| D

8/1

Won at Cartmel and Wincanton in the first half of last season. Decent comeback run at Kempton last month and likely to play a prominent role with that run under his belt.

Form: 213144-

Mister Allegro¹⁴⁵

Age: 4| Weight: 11-2| J: Rex Dingle| T: A J Honeyball| OR: 116| D

14/1

Modest on the level but made a fine start over hurdles, scoring at Ludlow and Wincanton last October. Not in the same form in a Cheltenham Grade 2 and Taunton handicap the following month but does retain potential back from a break.

Forecasts

Percy's Word (11/4), Samba Dancer (11/4), Wewillgowithplanb (3/1), Wasdell Dundalk (5/1), Pillar Of Steel (6/1), Progressive (13/2), First Quest (8/1), Mister Allegro (14/1)

This is tricky, not least as we haven't seen the majority of these for a while. PERCY'S WORD is back to the same mark as when second here last autumn so he gets a tentative vote with the Dan Skelton team going well. Samba Dancer was a big improver for this yard last autumn and it would be no shock to see him resume his progression after a break. Wewillgowithplanb is also interesting on first run for Richard Bandey, particularly if the betting vibes are strong.
