Off the mark over fences at Musselburgh in February and gained his second win in this sphere at Market Rasen 5 days ago. Had bit in hand there and can go well again under a penalty.
Has made frame on each his last 6 starts, a creditable fourth at Ayr last month the most recent of those. Winless since 2020 and mark continues to edge down but he can give another respectable showing.
Much improved when winning mares' handicap at Newcastle in November 2020. Out of depth in listed company last time but shaped as if retaining ability on prior return from 16-month break. This is more realistic.
Upped his game over fences in 2022, runner-up at Southwell and Kelso early this year. Ran to similar level when fourth at Newcastle last time and he can give another good account.
Won from 2 lb lower mark at Newcastle in November and ran close to his best when second at Kelso last month. Remains potentially well treated on his best form and can figure.
Runner-up for 3 consecutive starts in 2021/22 but found his good run coming to halt recently, running no sort of race at Kelso last time. Needs to bounce back.
Jumped better when third at Newcastle (20f) last time but it's been a while since he's threatened to win a race and needs a couple of his rivals to falter.
Only managed to complete once in 2021/22, that being a lacklustre display at Newcastle last month (had another wind op prior). Can't be fancied.
Looked very limited in Ireland for Sean Thomas Doyle but ran a better race on stable debut at Sedgefield 8 days ago. Remains with a fair bit to find on form, however.
Regressive for Noel Meade and has shown very little in 5 starts for this yard. Cheekpieces added but easily passed over.
Only poor recent form over hurdles and didn't show much in 3 starts over fences last summer.
Looked one to be interested in after chasing home a well-treated rival at Musselburgh 2 starts ago but ran no sort of race at Newcastle last time. Consider if that disappointing display proves a one-off.
No show in bumpers/over hurdles and pulled up on only prior chase start.

Seemingly So (10/3), Loughermore (9/2), Morningside (13/2), Gun Merchant (13/2), Monsieur Co (8/1), Lastofthecosmics (17/2), Fiston Du Mou (10/1), Calle Malva (11/1), Darius Des Sources (18/1), Shanbally Rose (22/1), Henry Brown (33/1), Oishin (100/1), Grey Tikkana (200/1)
SEEMINGLY SO can defy a penalty after last week's cosy Market Rasen success. Chief dangers come in the shape of Morningside, who has been holding his form consistently of late, and Gun Merchant, whose recent efforts suggest he may be working his way back to something.
