Age: 8| Weight: 12-0| J: G Sheehan| T: Jamie Snowden| OR: 130| D

11/1

Made a winning chase debut at Fontwell last spring, but well held next two starts in that sphere and more bad efforts than good ones since reverting to hurdles. Now tried in blinkers.

Diligent^h²⁵

Age: 9| Weight: 11-9| J: Kieren Buckley⁽⁵⁾| T: N J Hawke| OR: 125| C

13/8

Successful six times in 2021, five over fences and a novice hurdle here in September. Struck again in this sphere at Taunton on return last month and followed that with a creditable effort back here, so there's certainly cause for optimism.

Tulin^p,t¹⁶⁰

Age: 5| Weight: 11-8| J: Angus Cheleda⁽⁵⁾| T: P F Nicholls| OR: 124WS

2/1

Flat winner in France and successful first two starts for Paul Nicholls at Taunton last spring. Failed to shine at Wincanton (15.2f, good) when last seen in December, but since undergone a wind op and will be a danger to all if on-song back from a break.

Form: 11/4225-

Thahab Ifraj³⁶

Age: 9| Weight: 10-6| J: Philip Armson⁽⁵⁾| T: Alexandra Dunn| OR: 108| D

9/1

Latest success was registered off this mark at Market Rasen last June, and performed with credit when second in a three-runner Exeter handicap (16.7f, good) back from a break last month. Couldn't rule out.

Global Agreement³⁸

Age: 5| Weight: 10-2| J: Charlie Deutsch| T: M F Harris| OR: 103

5/1

Multiple winner during the winter, the latest at Carlisle in February. Put in his place in three subsequent starts, though, and looks vulnerable once more.

Forecasts

Diligent (13/8), Tulin (2/1), Get Back Get Back (4/1), Global Agreement (5/1), Thahab Ifraj (9/1), Chapmanshype (11/1)

TULIN ran poorly at Wincanton on his latest start in December, but he resumes on a 4 lb lower mark and is worth siding with here, in the hope that his subsequent wind operation has the desired effect. Get Back Get Back's jumping remains an error of significant concern and it could be that Thahab Ifraj and Diligent will emerge as the main dangers.
