Pretty useful chaser in France. Not close to that level for new yard but he has been runner-up in handicap hurdles on 2 of his last 3 starts and ought to be competitive again.
In the frame on all 6 outings last season, going down by only a short head over C&D on latest start 3 weeks ago. Left on the same mark. Another prominent showing likely.
Chase winner off this mark in blinkers during his time with Jennifer Mason. Left her yard after pulling up at Wincanton in December. Needs keeping a close eye on in the betting on first outing for a stable which does so well here. Has cheekpieces on first time.
Lost his way over hurdles for Jamie Snowden in 2019 and offered little back under Rules for new stable at Stratford in March. Has lots to prove at present.
Not fully exposed and in the frame on all 3 handicap starts, the latest over 20.5f here. Steps up significantly in trip now.
Responded well to blinkers when runner-up in big-field Uttoxeter handicap last May. Not in the same form at Southwell 18 days later. Off since but has joined another top yard ahead of this return to action. Market support could prove significant.
Sole win from 24 starts came at Fontwell last April but he wasn't in anything like the same form this time round, finishing last of 7. 2 lb out of handicap. Others preferred.
Temperamental sort. C&D winner. Twelve runs since last win in 2021. 11/1, seventh of 8 in handicap chase at Fontwell 40 days ago. Bounce back needed returned to hurdles.

Forecasts
Danzini (9/4), Mr Woody (5/2), The Tin Miner (9/2), D'jango (9/2), Thirsty Farmer (10/1), Bonanza Sam (12/1), Our Three Sons (14/1), Invincible Cave (40/1), Soarlikeaneagle (50/1)
Dr Richard Newland does well with new recruits so a chance is taken on MR WOODY, with confidence increased should the betting vibes be strong. The Tin Miner went close over C&D last month and rates an obvious threat from the same mark, while his new stablemate Bonanza Sam would also enter the reckoning should the market speak in his favour.
