Modest Flat winner who has got better with each run over hurdles, second here in September. Decent effort back on the Flat on first start since at Wolverhampton last month and sets a fair standard back in this sphere.

Blood Eagle^t²⁰²

Age: 6| Weight: 11-4| J: Kielan Woods| T: D J Jeffreys| OR: 82

18/1

Poor maiden hurdler. Off 6 months.

Form: 3/28U55-

Haraz⁹⁹

Age: 9| Weight: 11-4| J: Harry Kimber⁽⁵⁾| T: P Butler

500/1

Poor on the Flat nowadays and makes little appeal on belated debut in this sphere.

Form:

Psyche¹³

Age: 5| Weight: 11-4| J: Tom Cannon| T: C Gordon

9/2

Fair on Flat nowadays, stays 13f, runner-up last 2 starts. Claims if taking to this game at the first attempt.

Form:

Save Face⁵⁰

Age: 6| Weight: 11-4| J: D A Jacob| T: H Whittington

12/1

Maiden Irish pointer who was always behind in maiden hurdle at Fontwell 7 weeks ago.

Form: P5/P65-

Sophosc¹⁵

Age: 6| Weight: 11-4| J: C J Todd| T: Ian Williams

2/1

Fairly useful performer on Flat (stays 13.5f), who did quite well over inadequate trip last time. Makes hurdles debut and likely player on Flat ability.

Form:

Tip Top Tonto³¹

Age: 6| Weight: 11-4| J: Sam Twiston-Davies| T: Dr R D P Newland

5/1

Hinted at ability in bumpers but was let down by his jumping sent hurdling at Taunton on yard debut last month.

Form: 85/6F-

Pure Bubbles²²

Age: 4| Weight: 10-12| J: J E Moore| T: G & J Moore

4/1

Fair maiden on Flat though seems to be going the wrong way temperamentally. First go over hurdles here and ones from this yard can never be discounted.

Form:

Springar¹⁹

Age: 4| Weight: 10-5| J: Daniel Sansom⁽³⁾| T: J W Mullins

80/1

No encouragement in bumpers.

Form: 684-

Forecasts

Sophosc (2/1), Pure Bubbles (4/1), Psyche (9/2), Tip Top Tonto (5/1), Alioski (7/1), Save Face (12/1), Blood Eagle (18/1), Springar (80/1), Haraz (500/1)

SOPHOSC is fairly useful on the Flat so may well be good enough to make a winning debut over hurdles in this field. Alioski sets a fair standard and is likely to make his presence felt, while Psyche also showed decent ability on the level and could be involved.
