Winner of a match on second chase start at Plumpton in December. Well held in that sphere next time, but more like it when third back hurdling in first-time cheekpieces at Cheltenham (16.8f, good) and he needs considering.
Both wins over hurdles have been gained here, the latest off a 2 lb higher mark over 17.7f in September. Well below par on latest start in this sphere (and on the Flat subsequently), but dangerous to discount back at this course.
Back-to-back winner for Nick Mitchell last spring, including over this C&D. Below par in short stints for Ralph Smith and Harriet Brown, but right back to form when winning easily for new yard at Chepstow (2m, good) and a 10 lb rise looks manageable.
Won a claiming hurdle on final start in France and bettered what he showed in four runs for Charlie Mann when fourth on return/debut for new yard at Sandown in November. Never in the hunt on chase debut next time and his overall profile is far from convincing.
More miss than hit subsequent to latest success in an Ascot novices' handicap in October 2020, and others make more appeal on this occasion.
Hasn't gone on from his Exeter hurdles debut success in the way one would've hoped and while it's far too soon to write him off, the percentage call is to look elsewhere.
Dual winner on the Flat in France in 2018, but he's 0-11 in this sphere and failed to land a meaningful blow back from a break at Huntingdon (15.8f, good) recently. 3 lb 'wrong' at the weights.

Coal Stock (11/8), Heure De Gloire (7/2), Vorashann (9/2), Pasvolsky (5/1), Romeo's Bond (6/1), Mistersister (12/1), Touchthesoul (14/1), College Oak (14/1)
In the hope that he is perked up by the return to this course, VORASHANN gets the nod. It augurs well that he was on a bad run on form prior to scoring here in September and Gary Moore's charge is now 2 lb below that winning mark. Coal Stock is an obvious danger on the back of his facile success at Chepstow, while Pasvolsky is also accorded respect.
