In and out after his last victory (over hurdles at Listowel in June) but a player if ready to go back over fences after 6 months off.
Won novice handicap chase at Sedgefield (19.3f) in November before good second of 4 at Newcastle (23.4f) later same month. Shaped as if amiss at former course in January but worth another chance after break, especially if market speaks in his favour.
Won twice last summer. Looked rusty under a change of tactics on return at Musselburgh (veterans' event) in February and 3 lb lower back from another break here.
Fair 19f winner over hurdles but not gone on from a promising start over fences, well held again at Carlisle 17 days ago.
Back in good form when second over further here after another wind op 21 days ago but still yet to get his head in front for yard.
Twice a winner over fences in 2018. Lightly raced since, failing to build on a promising Musselburgh return at Catterick over Christmas. Off again since.
Notched sixth course success when making all in 6-runner handicap over 2m in February. Not so good since but his mark has dropped again at least.

Forecasts
Cooper's Cross (6/4), Caboy (5/1), En Meme Temps (5/1), Ardera Cross (13/2), Doktor Glaz (9/1), Young Jack Yates (10/1), Woodbrook Boy (11/1), Brotherly Company (12/1)
COOPER'S CROSS probably has more to offer over fences and is worth a chance to bounce back from whatever ailed him when pulled up at Sedgefield at the start of the year. Woodbrook Boy is also interesting back from an absence, while Caboy surely has solid place claims once again.
