SLATE HOUSE was a smart performer at his best, winning the Grade 1 Kauto Star here in 2019, and he gained his first victory since then when scoring in a C&D handicap last month. He was suited by the drop back in trip that day and remains well treated on old form, so he can go on to score again. Malystic can reverse the Ayr form with Return Ticket and is feared most, ahead of Diego du Charmil for in-form Paul Nicholls.
