Dual winner as a novice last term. Slightly underwhelming this season, second in a 3-runner event at Warwick last time, but should prove best at this trip and is on a good mark on last year's form. Player.

Won from 2 lb higher at Musselburgh in October but never went a yard in the Red Rum Chase last time. Step back up in trip is a plus in first-time cheekpieces but he's no more than averagely treated.
Has taken his form up a notch of late, second again and going down narrowly here (2m) on Wednesday. Obvious player back up in trip if turned out again quickly.
Enjoyed a good spell early in the season, winning at Stratford before finishing second in a Wetherby listed handicap. Has a fine record here and not discounted on return from 159-day break.
Largely consistent in a campaign which has garnered 2 wins, including in 3-runner event at Newcastle last time. This is deeper but he can give another good account from only 1 lb higher.
In-and-out this season and no positives to be found on either of his last 2 efforts, so is best passed over.
Won over C&D last summer and scored again at Musselburgh in January. Slightly underwhelming there last time and would need to improve to defy this mark in this company.
Dual winner in France but hasn't yet improved for this yard, well beaten on his most recent 2 outings. Blinkers now go on but he's got something to prove at present.

Forecasts
Coach Carter (9/4), Pookie Pekan (9/2), Alnadam (9/2), Fanzio (7/1), Crealion (8/1), Gaelik Coast (9/1), The King Of May (12/1), Cracking Destiny (18/1)
A chance is taken on ALNADAM, who has been somewhat frustrating for the Skeltons this season. However, he's not yet fully exposed as a chaser at mid-range trips and is back on his last winning mark. Coach Carter is the obvious danger if taking up this engagement, whilst The King of May should give another good account.
