Racing To School Novices' Hurdle (GBB Race)

Likeable type who was back to winning ways in smooth style over C&D in March. Found a 5 lb higher mark in better company too much at Aintree since but needs respecting back in a novice lacking depth.

Kelso bumper winner who scored readily on Warwick hurdles bow (2m, heavy) last May. Good efforts under a penalty at Uttoxeter and Southwell subsequently and has to be considered the one to beat returning from a break/breathing operation.

Modest maiden on the Flat and well held both starts over hurdles.

Showed little in 3 starts in Ireland. First run for yard after leaving J. A. Berry.

Showed more than first time up when fourth in 8-runner maiden at Wincanton (15.2f, good) 3 weeks ago.

Decent pedigree but sent off big prices when failing to complete both starts over hurdles.

Pulled up in novice hurdle over C&D (good, 80/1) on NH debut 23 days ago, losing touch back straight.

Fair maiden on Flat but has offered little both starts over hurdles.

Fairly useful maiden on Flat in Ireland (stays 12.5f). Shaped as if needing hurdles debut experience over C&D in February but was beaten even further at Haydock last time. Handicaps presumably up after this.

Half-brother to fairly useful hurdler Scholastic (17f winner). Fair form in pair of 10f Flat maidens for Donnacha O'Brien early last year but showed nothing sent hurdling in a first-time tongue strap (also had wind op) over C&D 4 weeks ago.
