LOTHIAN was rather disappointing when only eighth in the nine-runner C&D handicap won by The Defiant, also finishing adrift of Equally Fast and Doc Sportello (fourth and fifth respectively in the same race). However, better was clearly expected of Michael Attwater's charge that day (strong in the betting) and he is taken to emerge on top this time. The Defiant has to be respected in his bid for the four-timer, but Hey Ho Let's Go, successful over C&D a fortnight ago, is second choice.
