Scored in veterans' company at Chepstow in October and has posted creditable efforts in similar events on his last 2 outings, so looks likely to go well again.
Creditable fourth in the Cotswold Chase at Cheltenham in January but arrives here on the back of a lacklustre display at Newbury, finding nothing off the bridle. Bit to prove now but capable at his best.
Thorough stayer who can count a win and a second as his efforts in veterans' company this season. Pulled up in the Midlands National last time but hard to discount back at this level.
Won over C&D and at Ludlow this season and ran respectably returning from another wind-op at Ascot last time. Can give a good account without posing serious threat to principals.
Seemingly on the downgrade this season and hard to fancy after another below-par effort at Taunton last time.
Won at Market Rasen in July and ran creditably on return from a winter break at Carlisle last month, but others looks more solid for win purposes.
Won a weaker renewal of this last season and is yet to fully fire this term, jumping again the issue when a soundly-beaten second over C&D last month. Well treated if back to best, though.
Hit-and-miss performer but has run well behind progressive rivals on several occasions this term, including when second at Market Rasen last time. Considered on first start in veterans' company.
Failed to fire for Tim Vaughan this term but made winning debut for Harry Fry at Newbury 16 days ago. Yard enjoying good spell and 8 lb higher mark is fair on best form, so he ranks high on shortlist.

Bermeo (10/3), Potters Legend (9/2), Brianstorm (5/1), Some Chaos (11/2), Minella Encore (15/2), Kauto Riko (10/1), Final Nudge (12/1), Royal Village (12/1), Minellacelebration (16/1)
BERMEO looked back on track when making a winning start for Harry Fry at Newbury last time and is taken to follow up here. Some Chaos has held his form in stronger races lately and can also go well at the opposite end of the weights, whilst Brianstorm can also go well on his first veterans' start.
