9/4

Won a lady riders' event over C&D when last seen under Rules and no doubt primed for another bold showing after a satisfactory return between the flags in February. One to consider.

Form: P21-113

Peacocks Secret²³

Age: 10| Weight: 12-0| J: Mr D Peters⁽³⁾| T: D Peters| OR: 117

6/1

Consistent in this discipline and posted another solid showing when runner-up at Fakenham last time. Should be thereabouts again.

Form: 1-34332

Zamparelli^b,t¹³

Age: 10| Weight: 12-0| J: Tristan Durrell⁽³⁾| T: Miss V Collins| OR: 115| C

9/2

Fairly useful chaser who almost landed a hunter at Ludlow (for the second year running) when second there 13 days ago. Should go well again.

Form: F26722

Blackjacktennessee⁸

Age: 8| Weight: 11-10| J: Mr Huw Edwards⁽⁷⁾| T: Huw Edwards| OR: 82

14/1

Runner-up in a point recently but hard to recommend based on Rules exploits.

Form: 2-P4PU2

Llancillo Lord^h,t²⁹

Age: 12| Weight: 11-10| J: Megan Bevan⁽⁷⁾| T: Miss Bevan| OR: 81

80/1

Veteran who has a modest strike rate under Rules and struggled in a 4-runner hunter at Wincanton on debut for this stable last month. Up against it again.

Form: 43-P34P

Mighty Altogether¹⁴

Age: 8| Weight: 11-10| J: Mr Paddy Barlow⁽⁷⁾| T: D L Williams

50/1

Shirocco gelding. Half-brother to fair hurdler/chaser Hugo 'N Taz. Maiden pointer, placed last 3 starts (latest Mar 27). Others make more appeal.

Form: P56233

Tel'art^p,t¹⁹

Age: 8| Weight: 11-10| J: Toby Wynne⁽⁵⁾| T: R L Llewellyn| OR: 114| C

2/1

Fair winner at 26f over hurdles for Ben Pauling and better effort over fences for current yard when third in a hunter at Exeter 19 days ago. Needs to take another step forward.

Form: 134253

Tidal Flow^b,t1¹⁵

Age: 9| Weight: 11-10| J: Ben Sutton⁽⁷⁾| T: A Hill| OR: 129| C

8/1

Talented hurdler/chaser on his day for Philip Hobbs. Hasn't fired in points yet for yard but he has the talent to get involved if he returns on a going day with a tongue strap fitted.

Form: P5-6P13

Forecasts

Tel'art (2/1), Deans Road (9/4), Zamparelli (9/2), Peacocks Secret (6/1), Tidal Flow (8/1), Blackjacktennessee (14/1), Mighty Altogether (50/1), Llancillo Lord (80/1)

DEANS ROAD is well into the twilight of his career but was impressive when landing a C&D event on his last Rules outing 10 months ago. Having had a run in points to sharpen him up earlier this year, he might be worth chancing to get the better of Zamparelli and Peacocks Secret, who were both runner-up last time.
