Second at Carlisle on final start for Jennie Candlish and ran creditably there on first start for this yard 20 days ago. Not dismissed with tongue strap applied.
Yet to win a race of any description but has made the frame in handicaps off higher marks this season. Didn't convince under pressure last time but may have more to come over this longer trip.
Best recent effort when second from this mark at Sedgefield last month and can't be ruled out in a similar event.
Shaped like one being brought along with handicaps in mind in novice hurdles, though opening mark looks stiff enough. May prove at his best over even further.
Remains winless over hurdles but has largely held his form this season and isn't ruled out of making the frame dropped back to a more suitable trip.
Capitalised on a reduced mark when scoring at Carlisle in February but has made no impression on either start since. Others more persuasive.
Runner-up on bumper debut last May (for Ben Pauling) but has shown nothing in a trio of novice hurdles this winter. Hard to have confidence in making handicap debut.
Attracted support but only finished ninth in 15-runner C&D event last month. Still yet to make any impact for this yard so interesting to see whether market speaks in his favour again.
Well-treated on his best form for Eric McNamara but is almost 3 years without a win and hasn't show much to enthuse about recently.
Little promise since leaving Dan Skelton for this yard and tough to fancy with visor going on.
Performed creditably over fences since re-joining this yard, placed for the fourth time this season when runner-up at Sedgefield last month. Rarely seen over hurdles nowadays but mark is workable if in same form.
Little promise in a trio of juvenile events and well out of the weights for handicap hurdle debut, but has been in good order on the level in blinkers (won Kempton handicap in February and runner-up both starts since). Could do better.

Bestiarius (4/1), Ugo Du Misselot (5/1), Dr Shirocco (6/1), Just Paddy's Band (6/1), Kings Creek (13/2), Dan Gun (10/1), Azof Des Mottes (10/1), Old Jewry (11/1), Smart Boyo (16/1), Landacre Bridge (16/1), Muroor (22/1), Barnay (25/1), Celtic Dancer (40/1)
AZOF DES MOTTES travelled as if still in good heart before fading on the heavy ground at Wetherby last time, and having finished ahead of a next time out winner there previously, he's fancied to get off the mark back from a wind op here. Kings Creek went well from the same mark at Sedgefield last month and can make the frame again, whilst Ugo du Misselot is unexposed at the trip.
