Antunes^p,t¹¹

Age: 8| Weight: 11-11| J: Harry Reed| T: M F Harris| OR: 131| D

4/1

Lost his way for Dan Skelton but scored from a much-reduced mark for this yard at Bangor last month. Hard to know whether that signifies a wider resurgence now up another 9 lb.

Fanzio^t²¹

Age: 7| Weight: 11-10| J: J J Burke| T: R Hobson| OR: 130| D

5/1

In-and-out this season, producing another underwhelming effort when last of 5 at Hereford 3 weeks ago. Capable from this mark if putting his best foot forward but he's not one to be relied upon.

Doukarov^h,t²⁵

Age: 7| Weight: 11-6| J: J R Wildman⁽⁷⁾| T: S Curran| OR: 126| CD

6/4

Has thrived this season, a C&D win in December and last month's Sandown victory bookending a series of creditable placed efforts in defeat. Now has a career-high mark to contend with but should go well again.

Form: 313221

Paddy's Poem¹⁴

Age: 11| Weight: 11-3| J: James Davies| T: N J Gifford| OR: 123| D

7/1

Scored at Wincanton last season but is yet to fire this year and is likely best passed over.

Form: 310-P37

Glajou^p,t¹²

Age: 6| Weight: 11-0| J: Harry Cobden| T: P F Nicholls| OR: 120| D

4/1

Ex-French hurdler who improved for switch to chasing last term, scoring at Southwell. Questions over his resolution arose again at Wincanton last time, though he's now 4 lb lower than his last winning mark.

Form: 3F3-253

Jan Maat^b⁴¹

Age: 9| Weight: 11-0| J: Max Kendrick| T: N B King| OR: 120| D

25/1

Useful chaser at his best for Henry de Bromhead but has finished down the field in 3 starts hurdling/chasing for this yard and hard to see a resurgence here.

Form: 0-40007

Forecasts

Doukarov (6/4), Monsieur Lecoq (9/4), Antunes (4/1), Glajou (4/1), Fanzio (5/1), Paddy's Poem (7/1), Jan Maat (25/1)

The consistent DOUKAROV races from a career-high mark here but looks the most solid option in a race littered with frustrating and unreliable types. Monsieur Lecoq scored over C&D last month and certainly has the ability to folow up if in the same heart, whilst Antunes may be third best.
