Lightly-raced maiden. Respectable fourth of 12 in minor event at this course (7.2f, 11/8) 17 days ago. Significantly up in trip for this handicap debut and he's worth considering, for all that improvement is needed.
Thrice-raced maiden. Eighth of 12 in minor event at Lingfield (8f, AW, 10/3) when last seen in December (gelded since). Mark for this handicap bow fair enough judged on previous promise, but others make more appeal all the same.
Lightly-raced maiden. Cheekpieces on for 1st time, eighth of 11 in maiden at Lingfield (10f, AW, 20/1). Off 136 days ahead of this handicap debut and significant step forward required.
9/4, improved when winning 10-runner maiden at Southwell (8.1f) 19 days ago. In good hands and needs taking seriously now upped in trip for this handicap debut.
Thrice-raced maiden. Fifth of 7 in maiden (10/11) at Lingfield (10f, AW) 80 days ago (gelded since). May well do better now venturing down the handicap route and not without each-way hope.
Thrice-raced winner. 8/11, won 6-runner maiden at Lingfield (10f, AW) 25 days ago (second past the post but subsequently promoted). Represents top yard and he could have more to offer now handicapping.
Cheekpieces on for 1st time, respectable sixth of 11 in nursery at Ffos Las (8f, good to soft, 8/1). Off 6 months ahead of this tapeta debut/first run for yard after leaving Archie Watson. Needs to raise his game.
C&D winner in January. 3/1, sixth of 7 in handicap at this course (9.5f) 3 days ago. Shouldn't be judged too harshly on that and this consistent filly is likely to be in the mix.

Forecasts
Swilcan Bridge (13/8), Homeric (3/1), Killearn (13/2), Aguaplano (15/2), Spy (11/1), Midgetonamission (11/1), Udaberri (14/1), Showmedemoney (40/1)
There's good reason to believe that SWILCAN BRIDGE will have more to offer now moving up in trip on this handicap debut, and he gets the nod. Indeed, Andrew Balding's charge has improved with each of his three starts, landing a Southwell maiden recently, and is bred to relish this stiffer test. Midgetonamission wasn't seen to best effect here on Saturday and she rates the main danger ahead of Homeric.
