Manor Elite Horseboxes Novices' Handicap Hurdle

Off time: 15:55 | Winning time: 4m 50.50s

Social City⁵³

Age: 6| Weight: 11-12| J: Adam Wedge| T: Evan Williams| OR: 104

16/1

Fairly useful Flat winner. Fourth on both completed starts in novice hurdles this winter. May do better now handicapping.

Form: 4F4

Hardy Boy⁴²

Age: 5| Weight: 11-2| J: Kielan Woods| T: B Pauling| OR: 94

6/1

Out of a winning hurdler and showed some ability when fourth in a Warwick bumper on debut. Modest at best over hurdles since but handicaps provide him with a more realistic chance. Worth a betting check.

Form: 4075

The Turfaccountant^h¹¹⁰

Age: 6| Weight: 11-0| J: Tabitha Worsley⁽³⁾| T: C Hobson| OR: 92

33/1

Little form of worth in maiden/novice hurdles and opening handicap mark looks tough.

Form: 0/0-408

Nine Nine Nine⁵⁵

Age: 5| Weight: 10-13| J: Jordan Nailor⁽³⁾| T: S-J Davies| OR: 91

25/1

Modest form, beaten 20 lengths when second in 2m Fakenham maiden hurdle in October (for Nigel Twiston-Davies). Left that stable after next start. Switches to handicap company for the first time.

Form: 6-265

Aggagio⁶^{(ex 7)}

Age: 4| Weight: 10-12| J: Joshua Moore| T: G & J Moore| OR: 91

4/11

Flat winner who looked well ahead of his mark when making a successful handicap hurdle debut at Fontwell (19f) last weekend. 7 lb penalty doesn't look enough to stop him with further progress very much on the cards.

Form: 7721

Overhaugh Street³⁷

Age: 9| Weight: 10-5| J: Benjamin Poste| T: E De Giles| OR: 83

20/1

Fair stayer on Flat. Won a novice claiming hurdle at Ludlow in December. Respectable fourth in Doncaster handicap in January but down the field over this C&D since. Bounce back needed.

Form: 3-1740

Samatian^t1²⁹

Age: 5| Weight: 10-4| J: David Bass| T: K Bailey & M Nicholls| OR: 82

8/1

Barely modest form so far, including a pair of handicap starts this year. Still fairly early days, though. Tongue strap goes on now.

Form: 6-96756

Moscow Spy⁶⁴

Weight: 10-10| Age: 5

T: J & A O'Neill J: Jonjo O'Neill Jr.

Forecasts

Aggagio (4/11), Moscow Spy (4/1), Hardy Boy (6/1), Samatian (8/1), Social City (16/1), Overhaugh Street (20/1), Nine Nine Nine (25/1), The Turfaccountant (33/1)

AGGAGIO should be a tough nut to crack under a penalty for last weekend's comfortable Fontwell success. Moscow Spy, Social City and Hardy Boy have the profiles of possible improvers now moving into handicap company and can give Gary Moore's charge most to think about.
