Formerly useful chaser for Paul Nicholls who cashed in on lowly marks at Ayr and Doncaster in gritty fashion. Good third off revised mark at Sedgefield since. Player back down in class.
Scored twice over fences in 2019/20 but has been disappointing (made mistakes) since returning from a lengthy absence this season. Dropping in the weights at least.
All the better for return when winning at Chepstow in January. That was his best effort over fences to date so high on the shortlist despite yet to race on going better than soft.
Fairly useful chaser at best in France but pulled up last 3 starts. Tricky to assess but one to watch in market debuting for underrated yard.
Left stable/seasonal debut behind when a creditable third at Doncaster. Another small step forward when fourth at Hereford. Becoming well handicapped and hasn't been with this yard long.
Stepped up on previous efforts over fences when second in 23f handicap at Newcastle in December but hasn't kicked on, hinting at temperament (whipped round and unseated rider start here 2 weeks ago).
Sketchy jumper who has generally been out of sorts since leaving Henry de Bromhead cheaply, soon left behind once the pace lifted at Doncaster latest.
Better over fences, winning first 2 starts in novice handicap chases last season and running well at Sedgefield in May. Ran poorly back from 8 months off at Carlisle last month, however.

Forecasts
Zalvados (7/2), Ecume Atlantique (4/1), Frimeur De Lancray (9/2), Destin D'Ajonc (11/2), Katpoli (11/2), Dr Sanderson (8/1), Game Of War (11/1), Tico Times (20/1)
ZALVADOS took another step back in the right direction when fourth at Hereford and it bears repeating that he's becoming well handicapped and hasn't been with this yard long. He shades the vote over Destin d'Ajonc, who was value for a bit extra when scoring at Chepstow. Dr Sanderson is another to consider back down in class.
