Impressive strike rate for Paul Nicholls, picking up where he left off to land C&D handicap (21f) in November. Struggled in a deeper handicap at Newbury thereafter but claims nevertheless.

Very useful chaser who has posted 3 solid efforts this term, 2l second in Grade 3 handicap at Cheltenham in December. Pulled up in similar events the last twice so needs to bounce back over timber.

Got right back on track when landing 20.5f handicap chase here in January but not in the same form at Warwick since. Needs to leave that effort well behind switched back over timber.

Made into a useful hurdler last season. Looked the winner when falling last on Stratford chase debut/return in October and back to best when edged out in the dying strides over C&D 3 weeks ago.

One-time exciting hurdler who got back on track switched to fences after a wind op when runner-up on first 2 starts this term. Has failed to progress over fences so he's one to note back over timber.

Proved a different proposition on second run over fences with a smooth win in extended 23f Newbury handicap back in December 2018. Not so good at Market Rasen 2 months later and not seen since.

Scored on return at Chepstow (2m) in October and filled runners-up spot on 2 of his 4 starts since, shaping as if amiss in a first-time tongue tie at Cheltenham 7 weeks ago. Will need to bounce back.

As good as ever back hurdling in late 2021, scoring over 2½m at Hereford in December. Not quite in the same form over C&D since so looks to have quite a bit on his plate.

Struck at second attempt over hurdles in 2m novice here in November. Relished the step up in trip when scoring on handicap debut since so rates a player despite being hit with a 15 lb rise.

Irish point winner who showed useful form in winning 2 of his 4 starts over hurdles last season. Has failed to kick on since runner-up effort on chase bow so switched back to the smaller obstacles.

Dual 2m hurdles winner who showed improved form with cheekpieces quickly discarded to run out a decisive winner at Wincanton 6 weeks ago. Nudged up just 2 lb, he merits serious consideration.

Fairly useful hurdler who jumped and travelled well when making all on handicap chase debut at Fakenham (2m) in October. Not so good here next time 4 months on and switched back over timber now.

Landed a third victory of the season in 7-runner handicap at Fontwell (19.2f, soft) last month, rallying to lead run-in. Unable to land a blow in a much stronger race since and this equally as tough.

BRIEF TIMES may have lost his unbeaten record on handicap debut at Wincanton back in January but he still emerged with plenty of credit in finishing second. Upped significantly in distance here, Neil Mulholland's charge gets the verdict to resume winning ways. Press Your Luck ran out a decisive winner last time so he's fancied to be in the mix, along with Solo and Dorking Boy.
