Both chase victories gained here (21f) and back to form when runner-up over extended 25f at Plumpton in February. No surprise to see him go well again here from same mark.

Useful in France and easily best effort for present yard when landing 8-runner Southwell handicap chase (3m) 11 days ago. Rider's claim off-sets penalty and he's a player with a repeat.
|
Doubled chase tally in another small-field affair at Ludlow (23.8f) in October. Better than distance beaten suggests back at that venue in December and returns with yard going along nicely.
|
Veteran C&D winner who ran well when fifth in a class 2 Cheltenham handicap 2 starts back. Not in same form when last of 4 at Sandown (3m) latest, so bounce back called for.
|
Winning hurdler/chaser who ultimately finished well held when third over extended 19f at Huntingdon 12 days ago, driven home turn but folding soon after. Couple of others appeal more.

Forecasts
Admiral Barratry (15/8), Via Dolorosa (11/4), Potters Legend (7/2), Outonpatrol (6/1), Go Steady (8/1)
Both of ADMIRAL BARRATRY's chase victories have come around this venue under today's pilot and, having signalled a return to form when runner-up from this mark at Plumpton (25.7f) last month, he could be the way to go. The returning Outonpatrol is narrowly preferred to Via Dolorosa to pose the chief threat.
