Off time: 17:05 | Winning time: 4m 7.74s

Castle Keep³²⁹

Age: 6| Weight: 11-3| J: Alex Edwards⁽³⁾| T: Mrs M Rowley

3/1

Offered something to work on when fourth at Ludlow 10 months ago, but obviously a slight concern that he's been off since. Could find some improvement if he's tuned up for this return.

10/1

€10,000 Court Cave half-brother to useful hurdler/smart staying chaser Dingo Dollar. Failed to live up to market expectations at Fakenham on debut 120 days ago, but can't be written off.

Form: 6

6/4

Blue Bresil gelding. Half-brother to 5 winners, including fairly useful hurdler/chaser Miss Night Owl and fairly useful hurdler/chaser Fighting Fit. Makes plenty of appeal on paper.

Form: 2F

Abingworth³³

Age: 4| Weight: 10-7| J: J E Moore| T: G & J Moore

9/2

Out of a winning hurdler and did well to finish second having looked very green on debut over C&D. Pulled too hard at Kempton next time, but remains with potential.

Form: 20

Ingennio

Age: 4| Weight: 10-7| J: Lily Pinchin⁽⁵⁾| T: R Hobson

7/1

Lauro gelding. Dam French bumper winner. Pedigree suggests he should take to this discipline, so not without a chance first time out.

Form:

The Spin King

Age: 4| Weight: 10-7| J: Luke Scott⁽⁷⁾| T: T H Weston

16/1

Getaway gelding. Dam fair 2½m/21f hurdle winner. Likely to need more time.

Forecasts

Pembroke (6/4), Swapped (9/4), Castle Keep (3/1), Abingworth (9/2), Ingennio (7/1), Give Me A Cuddle (10/1), The Spin King (16/1), She's Out Of Reach (18/1), Watch Your Toes (100/1)

SWAPPED bumped into one in a competitive race at Lingfield last time and this extra emphasis on stamina returned to turf is likely to suit, so he's marginally preferred to Pembroke, a well-bred newcomer from a top stable. Abingworth's encouraging debut sticks in the mind even if he failed to back it up last time, so he's another one to consider.
