Lucky Robin^p³⁴

Age: 10| Weight: 11-12| J: Sam Coltherd| T: B Ellison| OR: 100| CD

20/1

Successful off 7 lb higher hurdles mark here in September. Strike rate in this sphere is not so good but has performed well on last 2 chase starts, including over C&D, and shouldn't be far away.

Astra Via^t¹⁴

Age: 7| Weight: 11-9| J: Adam Wedge| T: Evan Williams| OR: 97| C

7/1

C&D winner last term and has upped her game this season, scoring over hurdles on return at Chepstow and produced a career-best when landing a 2½m mares' handicap chase at Leicester recently. Up 6 lb.

Form: 8-91621

Obey The Rules^p⁷⁷

Age: 7| Weight: 11-8| J: B S Hughes| T: D McCain Jnr| OR: 96| CD

13/2

Has taken well to fences, bagging handicaps at Hereford and over C&D in November. Fair third off this mark in first-time cheekpieces (retained here) at Catterick last time and he needs considering.

Form: 512123

Little Orange⁷⁷

Age: 8| Weight: 11-6| J: Jamie Hamilton| T: S Waugh| OR: 94

10/3

Remains winless following half-a-dozen chase starts but probably would've won but for falling 2 out at Wetherby (19.4f) in December. Not disgraced at Catterick next time and he should be in the mix.

Form: 2P-22F3

You Say Nothing^h³⁶

Age: 7| Weight: 11-4| J: Jack Tudor⁽³⁾| T: Christian Williams| OR: 92| D

6/4

Twice a winner over hurdles for Gavin Cromwell in Ireland but yet to make an impact in this sphere for new connections.

Form: P6P084

Danny Park^p⁸

Age: 6| Weight: 10-2| J: James Best| T: M Young| OR: 76

9/2

Still a maiden following 9 attempts overall but posted his best effort yet under a more positive ride when going close at Wetherby (15.2f) 8 days ago. Definite chance if able to build on that here.

Forecasts

You Say Nothing (6/4), Little Orange (10/3), Danny Park (9/2), Roxyfet (6/1), Obey The Rules (13/2), Astra Via (7/1), Lucky Robin (20/1)

LITTLE ORANGE's last two efforts on the back of a break of three months or more have been solid, so the fact that he has been absent since finishing third at Catterick in December is of no great concern. The 8-y-o is marginally preferred to Danny Park, who will be a danger to all if able to build on his recent Wetherby near-miss. Obey The Rules and Astra Via also have claims in a competitive race.
