Off 9 months/first run since leaving Tom Symonds when good second in 2m handicap hurdle at Lingfield 19 days ago. Merits consideration despite 3 lb rise with Brian Hughes now in the saddle.
C&D winner but he came in only tenth of 11 in 2m handicap at Bangor (80/1) 23 days ago. Very hard to make a case for at these weights.
Showed promise in bumpers for Willie Mullins but yet to confirm that over hurdles for his current yard, only seventh in 17f Carlisle novice 13 days ago. More required now going into handicaps.
Back to winning ways over 2m at Ayr in December and he went well for a long way when fifth of 15 in 20f Wetherby handicap 18 days ago. Bold showing is on the cards now reverted in trip.
Running respectably when fell last in 2m handicap hurdle at Newcastle 47 days ago. Needs to find a bit more if he's to open his hurdling account at the fifth attempt here.
Remains winless, and he came in below-form fifth of 10 in handicap hurdle at Catterick (19.3f) 30 days ago. Others are more persuasive.
Fair 1m winner on the Flat but he's yet to match that form in this sphere, fourth of 7 in handicap over C&D 35 days ago. Needs a couple of these to falter.
Landed a gamble on his handicap debut in 12-runner event at Market Rasen (2m) 26 days ago. Up 6 lb but he's not taken lightly in his current mood.

Forecasts
Lightning Attack (11/8), Bay Of Intrigue (11/4), Beat Box (7/2), North Parade (6/1), Silkstone (18/1), Burnage Boy (22/1), Derracrin (66/1), Robeam (80/1)
BEAT BOX looks the way to go here given he still figures on a handy mark and should prove suited by the return to 2m having travelled well for a long way when fifth over 20f at Wetherby last time. Bay of Intrigue rates a big threat though on the back of his Lingfield second with Brian Hughes an eye-catching booking and Market Rasen scorer Lightning Attack can't be ruled out either.
