Branson Missouri⁴³

Age: 6| Weight: 11-12| J: Sam Twiston-Davies| T: H J L Dunlop| OR: 100| BF

8/1

Gambled on when emphatically opening his account in 2m handicap hurdle at Uttoxeter in December. Beaten by more than a 7 lb higher mark at Exeter 3 weeks later.

Eventful¹⁶

Age: 5| Weight: 11-5| J: Nick Scholfield| T: J & S Best| OR: 93

4/1

Confirmed the promise of her Plumpton run when shedding maiden status in 12-runner contest back there 16 days ago. 5 lb rise shouldn't prevent another bold bid.

Form: 64-5831

No No Tonic^b1,t1¹⁷

Age: 8| Weight: 11-1| J: Fergus Gillard⁽³⁾| T: Mark Gillard| OR: 89

2/1

Fully exposed as modest but she seemed to excel herself when third of 5 in the face of a stiff task at Exeter 17 days ago. Blinkers/tongue tie on and task is to now back that up.

Form: 62-3463

Chantilly Haze¹⁴

Age: 7| Weight: 10-12| J: Conor Ring⁽³⁾| T: P C Dando| OR: 86

15/2

Yet to get her head in front and hasn't been firing of late. Edged down to a handy mark but 2m is probably an insufficient test.

Form: 42P645

Glorious Isolation¹⁶

Age: 6| Weight: 10-4| J: Ben Godfrey⁽³⁾| T: A J Honeyball| OR: 78

7/1

Yet to show much over hurdles but hails from a shrewd yard and fourth-place finish on handicap debut (behind Eventful) was more like it.

Form: 90P4

Rubys Reward^t¹⁶

Age: 6| Weight: 10-1| J: Rex Dingle| T: A J Honeyball| OR: 75

5/1

Showed a bit in bumpers and improved on her qualifying runs over hurdles when second to Eventful on handicap debut at Plumpton 16 days ago. Likely to get involved again.

Form: 45-0502

Vinnie's Icon²⁸

Age: 8| Weight: 10-0| J: Sean Houlihan| T: C J Gray| OR: 74

12/1

Poor form in bumpers and well beaten over hurdles, including in low-grade handicaps.

Form: 48/6-977

Dark Heather^h²⁰

Age: 5| Weight: 10-0| J: Benjamin Poste| T: B Lund| OR: 72

33/1

Well held in bumper/4 starts over hurdles. Hard to make a case for.

Form: 7PP58

Forecasts

No No Tonic (2/1), Eventful (4/1), Torbellino (9/2), Rubys Reward (5/1), Bella Beau (11/2), Glorious Isolation (7/1), Chantilly Haze (15/2), Branson Missouri (8/1), Vinnie's Icon (12/1), Dark Heather (33/1), Light Of Athena (33/1), Lady Wolf (50/1)

If there's a mare with the potential to be a fair way ahead of their mark it's surely TORBELLINO given she was fair on the Flat and the hurdles races she contested at Plumpton were won by a useful sort. Eventful and Rubys Reward finished first and second in a handicap recently and head the opposition.
