Returned to form from out of the blue when landing a 23f Lingfield handicap hurdle in December. Safely held over fences next time and while returning to this sphere may help, others look more solid.
The latest of his 4 career wins over hurdles was gained at Plumpton last spring. Solid third to Flying Nun (winner again since) at Fontwell (21.8f) last time and definite chance back up in trip here.
Has improved since going down the handicap route, making it 2 wins from his last 3 starts when accounting for 17 rivals at Wetherby (3m) last month. 6 lb rise hardly draconian and he's a key player.
Fairly useful hurdles/chase winner for Gary Moore, but it's been a while since he last showed some spark.
Four-time hurdles winner and landed a handicap chase here off a 12 lb higher mark in January 2020. Limited to just 3 subsequent appearances, though, and pulled up both starts so far this season.
Improved in back-to-back Fakenham handicap hurdles in December/January fitted with visor. Blinkers experiment from last time quickly aborted and he probably has more to offer.
Six-time winner here but she's out of sorts and will find easier openings.
Returned to form from out of the blue when second of 7 in handicap chase at Lingfield (23.5f) in December. However, well held both starts since and probably best watched back in this sphere.
Bagged 25f Fontwell handicap last spring and placed first 2 starts of this season, including over C&D in November. Completely misfired at Lingfield last time, though, and needs to bounce back.
More impact from much-reduced mark when second at Fakenham (23.4f) last month, but not so good behind the same rival back there next time. Others preferred.

Forecasts
Malinas Island (1/1), Tiny Tantrum (16/5), Good News (7/1), Waikiki Waves (12/1), Ding Ding (18/1), Ramore Will (20/1), Soarlikeaneagle (22/1), Ratoute Yutty (25/1), Dell Oro (50/1), Invincible Cave (50/1)
MALINAS ISLAND doesn't look overly burdened here, having been raised 6 lb for his latest success at Wetherby, and Neil Mulholland's charge is taken to add to his tally. He may have most to fear from Tiny Tantrum, for whom the fitting of blinkers didn't work so well at Fakenham recently but he can be expected to bounce back now re-fitted with the visor. Good News also merits respect.
