Useful hurdles winner and while it hasn't been all plain sailing since switched to fences, he won well at Ffos Las in December and didn't perform badly at Plumpton (19.8f) recently. Cheekpieces added.

Looked good prospect when scoring on Newbury hurdles debut last term. Rather disappointing since, but on an attractive mark now switched to fences for new connections. Cheekpieces/tongue strap added.
Fairly useful maiden hurdler last term and shaped well when third on return/chase debut at Ayr. Not so good back hurdling last time, but possibilites reverting to this sphere off a 2 lb lower mark.
Fair 19f winner over hurdles and runner-up first 2 starts in this sphere. Not disgraced when third in a 4-runner Kelso handicap last time, but Sunset West appears to be the stable first-string.
Winner of first 2 starts in this sphere prior to coming up short in hat-trick bid at Kelso last month. Early faller back at that course last time, but big chance granted a clear round here.
Off the mark at the sixth attempt over hurdles when landing a soft-ground Bangor novices' handicap (23f) earlier this month. Should be in the mix if his jumping passes the test now tackling fences.
Expensive point recruit who went the wrong way for Paul Nicholls after a winning a maiden hurdle at Wincanton in March 2019. Little impact in 2 starts over fences this season.
Forecasts
Sunset West (15/8), Tim Pat (10/3), Pitempton Power (11/2), En Meme Temps (11/2), Downtown Getaway (9/1), Lecale's Article (10/1), Trevelyn's Corn (14/1)
It's fair to say that LECALE'S ARTICLE ultimately proved disappointing for Nicky Henderson, having looked so promising when winning a Newbury maiden hurdle on his Rules debut. However, this former point winner may be able to get his career back on track now tackling fences. He gets the nod ahead of fellow chase debutant Tim Pat, while Pitempton Power and Sunset West also have claims.
