1/4

Flat/hurdles winner for Amanda Perrett and back to form when landing a significant gamble in runaway style at Sandown last week, soon clear. Escapes a penalty so hard to beat with a repeat.

Order Of St John¹⁴

Age: 5| Weight: 11-5| J: Thomas Bellamy| T: D J Jeffreys| OR: 103

16/1

Flat winner for yard who showed plenty from the front in maiden hurdles to end 2021. Well held in handicaps since, though, and probably wants quicker ground.

Off the mark in Ffos Las conditionals' handicap hurdle over a year ago but that's his sole success from 19 starts in this sphere and recent efforts have lacked spark. 3 lb out of weights.

Forecasts

Manucci (1/4), Astroman (11/2), Balleticon (15/2), The Wire Flyer (10/1), Sambezi (10/1), Il Re Di Nessuno (12/1), Order Of St John (16/1), Poker Master (25/1)

MANUCCI landed a significant gamble in runaway style at Sandown last week and holds outstanding claims off the same mark (due to go up 9 lb). Astroman was a good second over C&D 2 weeks ago and can follow the selection home.
