Half-brother to a couple of winners and was much improved to make it second time lucky over timber at Wincanton 4 weeks ago. Open to further progress so one to consider here.

Pulled up in sole point but showed ability switched to a bumper when runner-up at Sedgefield (16.8f). Filled same spot in a tongue strap on Taunton hurdle debut but possibly amiss since. Had wind op.

Produced a promising first effort amidst greenness when fourth behind Monviel at Wincanton 4 weeks ago, noted doing his best work finish. Will be suited by further in time and is entitled to progress.

Champs Elysees gelding who overcame the run of the race to make a winning start to his career in a Worcester bumper back in August. Market can guide expectations ahead of his hurdling debut.

In the frame on both appearances in points and just a glimmer of promise when fourth of 10 in novice hurdle (6/1) at Chepstow (16f, soft) last month. Probably one for later on over further.

Forecasts

Monviel (15/8), Hidor De Bersy (2/1), Learntalot (9/4), Braveheart (4/1), Operation Manna (11/2), Twilight Glory (11/1)

Verdict

MONVIEL opened his account at Wincanton 4 weeks ago with a much-improved effort and can follow up. Learntalot, who was a few places behind Philip Hobbs's charge that day, is entitled to progress from that initial effort.
