French Bumper⁴⁷³

Age: 6| Weight: 11-2| J: Joshua Moore| T: G & J Moore

7/1

€29,000 3-y-o, Court Cave gelding. Dam (c124/h126) temperamental 2m-2½m hurdle/chase winner. Won sole start in Irish points (Nov 2020), has been off a long time, but worth monitoring in the betting.

Form: 1-

Galudon³⁴²

Age: 6| Weight: 11-2| J: Adrian Heskin| T: H Whittington

2/1

Half-brother to 3 winners and made a positive start when runner-up in a bumper at Gowran for Sam Curling 11 months ago. New yard will likely have him ready to go, so he's the one to beat.

11/8

€16,000 3-y-o, Soldier of Fortune gelding. Closely related to useful bumper winner/useful hurdler Easy As That. Newcomers from yard usually demand respect.

Red Windsor⁵⁸

Age: 5| Weight: 11-2| J: Tom Cannon| T: C Gordon

10/1

Runner-up both starts to date, the better effort coming when just collared late at Plumpton 58 days ago. Should give another good account under a likely positive ride.

Forecasts

Howlingmadmurdock (11/8), Galudon (2/1), French Bumper (7/1), Vive De Charnie (10/1), Red Windsor (10/1), Duke Of Deception (20/1), Record High (20/1)

GALUDON was beaten only by the classy Journey With Me on debut, beating the others comfortably, so he's taken to overcome an 11-month absence and go some way to justifying the £60,000 that his current connections paid to acquire him. Anthony Honeyball's newcomer Howlingmadmurdock is a danger, and point-winner French Bumper can't be ignored.
