Madam Malarkey^p1²⁵

Age: 4| Weight: 10-12| J: Mr Eddie Edge⁽¹⁰⁾| T: N & W Twiston-Davies

25/1

Tailed off in 2 bumpers (favourite on debut at Warwick). Cheekpieces go on for hurdles bow.

Form: 09

Miss Curiosity²⁵

Age: 4| Weight: 10-12| J: Daniel Sansom⁽³⁾| T: J W Mullins

6/1

Easily best effort in bumpers when second to Fergal O'Brien's unbeaten Poetic Music at Newbury in December. Races in her on that evidence and now goes hurdling.

Form: 528

Pretentieuse²⁶⁰

Age: 4| Weight: 10-12| J: Conor Ring⁽³⁾| T: D Faulkner

50/1

Well held in juvenile and claiming hurdle in France, leaving P. Lenogue €3,000 in June 2021. Clearly has work to do.

Form: 79

Pump It Up^b²⁶

Age: 4| Weight: 10-12| J: James Best| T: R Spencer| OR: 92

9/4

Modest winner on Flat (stays 11.5f). Held in warm Lingfield event last time but claims on her previous Doncaster second when having the run of the race (nicked a 6-length lead at the start).

Form: 4426

Simply Red^t⁴⁹

Age: 4| Weight: 10-12| J: Fergus Gregory| T: O Greenall & J Guerriero

13/2

Little impact in a couple of bumpers but has fared a bit better in 2 races over hurdles, albeit held by front-running Pump It Up at Doncaster 7 weeks ago. Probably one for handicaps.

Form: 7845

Tiki Fire^h,t¹⁹

Age: 4| Weight: 10-12| J: J M Quinlan| T: N B King| OR: 88

11/4

Fair maiden on Flat. Has shown a bit over hurdles for this yard, including behind Pump It Up at Doncaster in December. Well beaten in listed event back there latest.

Form: 7436

Non-Runners

Fiamette¹⁵

Weight: 10-12| Age: 4

T: Miss J S Davis J: Non Runner

Forecasts

Pump It Up (9/4), Tiki Fire (11/4), Hang Up (7/2), Fiamette (11/2), Miss Curiosity (6/1), Simply Red (13/2), Madam Malarkey (25/1), Pretentieuse (50/1)

Not a strong juvenile hurdle and FIAMETTE could be the one who opens her account in this code. She's shown a bit in this sphere and, down in trip/class, just about makes most appeal. Pump It Up and Hang Up are among the other principals.
