Image of Stars that are filled with the colour gold

Fortyfourforty

Age: 5| Weight: 11-5| J: Finn Lambert⁽¹⁰⁾| T: N & W Twiston-Davies

12/1

Pether's Moon gelding. Dam (h71) lightly raced in bumpers/over hurdles. One to take seriously on debut.

Form:

Gaelic Park⁹¹

Age: 6| Weight: 11-5| J: J J Burke| T: C E Longsdon

5/1

Ocovango gelding. Half-brother to 4 winners, including useful hurdler/top-class chaser Chantry House and fairly useful hurdler/useful chaser The Last Day. Won sole start in Irish points (Nov 13).

Form: 1

Governor Green⁴⁸

Age: 5| Weight: 11-5| J: Alex Edwards⁽³⁾| T: A Ralph

40/1

Out of a winning hurdler but didn't show enough on debut to think he'll be of serious interest second time out.

Form: 7

I Am Rocco

Age: 5| Weight: 11-5| J: Aidan Coleman| T: N J Henderson

7/2

Kayf Tara gelding. Closely related to bumper winner Odello, and half-brother to fair hurdler Imperial Acolyte. Makes plenty of appeal on paper.

Form:

Riskintheground⁵⁷

Age: 5| Weight: 11-5| J: Harry Skelton| T: D Skelton

10/3

Positive start when second at Chepstow first time out and finished with running left when fifth in a listed event at Ascot 57 days ago. Can get off the mark at the third attempt

Form: 25

Samourai One⁴³

Age: 5| Weight: 11-5| J: Corey McGivern⁽¹⁰⁾| T: L Wadham

9/4

Half-brother to three winners and offered plenty of ability when runner-up over C&D 43 days ago. Likely to be on the premises again with the benefit of experience.

Form: 2

My Gift To You

Age: 4| Weight: 10-7| J: Rex Dingle| T: P R Webber

33/1

£36,000 3-y-o, Kingston Hill gelding. Half-brother to fairly useful hurdler/useful chaser Ballyarthur, stayed 3¼m, and bumper winner/fair hurdler Sunday Serenade. Dam unraced.

Form:

Toucan Sam^t¹³⁰

Age: 4| Weight: 10-7| J: T Scudamore| T: T Lacey

14/1

Frankel gelding who was a touch underwhelming when only seventh at Huntingdon 4 months ago. May prove a different proposition second time out, though, so worth keeping in mind.

Form: 7

Forecasts

Samourai One (9/4), Riskintheground (10/3), I Am Rocco (7/2), Gaelic Park (5/1), Fortyfourforty (12/1), Toucan Sam (14/1), Cloudy Hills (25/1), My Gift To You (33/1), Governor Green (40/1)

RISKINTHEGROUND showed enough in a listed contest to think he can land a race of this nature, so he gets the nod despite the presence of some appealing newcomers, the most notable being I Am Rocco. Samourai One is another one to consider following a promising debut over C&D.
