Three-time winner over fences/hurdles last term. Best not judged too harshly on either start this term (badly hampered at Lingfield on latest), and he's been given a chance by the handicapper.
Lost his way over hurdles last year and, back from 10 months off, showed little promise in a handicap at Market Rasen on chasing debut 46 days ago. Others preferred.
Course winner who hasn't been firing over hurdles but is leniently treated if this return to chasing can spark a revival after a 3-month break.
Progressive form in handicap hurdles last winter, winning twice. Encouraging second to Fairlawn Flyer on completed chase outing 36 days ago and should get closer to that rival on these terms.
No worthwhile form for almost 3 years now, so obviously hard to make a case for.
French bumper winner who rather lost his way over hurdles for Willie Mullins and has shaped with little promise so far over fences for curent yard.
Modest winning hurdler who has looked a different proposition in winning both chase outings over C&D, again finding plenty to see off Alkopop last month. Another bold showing expected.
Much improved from hurdles debut effort when landing a maiden here (16.8f) 13 months ago. Little encouragement taken from 3 outings over fences this season, however.
Best run over hurdles when second in maiden at Ffos Las in April but hasn't looked a natural since switched to chasing this season. Bit to prove.
Hard ride but capitalised on reduced mark at Doncaster in November and should arguably have followed up (hung his chance away, when second at Fakenham 40 days ago. Likely to be thereabouts again.
Yet to fire this term, but his mark has edged down as a result and he took a step back in the right direction when sixth of 14 at Hereford last time. Not a forlorn hope with visor refitted.
Doesn't appear to retain much ability or enthusiasm.
C&D winner who has been hinting at a revival lately, not discredited when fifth at Exeter last month. Not discounted back up in trip from an appealing mark.
Fair chaser who has been out of sorts for a while. Hard to fancy despite reduced mark.

Forecasts
Alkopop (9/4), Fairlawn Flyer (7/2), Thomas Patrick (9/1), Little Red Lion (11/1), Ballybreen (12/1), Anax (12/1), Summit Like Herbie (12/1), Tudors Treasure (14/1), Dock Road (14/1), Robin Of Sherwood (20/1), Eden Flight (22/1), French Paradoxe (25/1), Looks Like Power (33/1), Cadeau Du Bresil (66/1)
ALKOPOP was coming back at Fairlawn Flyer later in the piece over C&D last time and, on 7 lb better terms with his old rival, he's worth a chance to reverse that form in a race that the pair may well dominate. A return to form from the well-treated Little Red Lion would give him a big chance, too.
