Fairly useful on the Flat for Michael Bell and signs of ability both starts over hurdles but is probably more one for handicaps in due course.

Fairly useful form over hurdles when runner-up last 2 starts at Auteuil, latest in May. Has since transferred to Nicky Henderson and had a breathing operation, so requires close market scrutiny.

Fair in bumpers and showed ability under a considerate ride when fifth at Newbury (16.3f) on recent hurdles debut. Should improve but this is a tough ask.

Forecasts

Shallwehaveonemore (4/9), Balkeo (4/1), Grandeur D'ame (13/2), Arthur's Seat (18/1), Card Dealer (50/1), Alghazaal (100/1), Optimistic Belief (150/1)

Verdict

SHALLWEHAVEONEMORE, an impressive winner of a Kempton bumper on his debut in March, has shown plenty of ability on both his starts over hurdles despite pulling hard, and this looks an excellent opportunity back under less testing conditions for him to get off the mark for the season. Balkeo is an interesting recruit for Nicky Henderson who requires close market attention.
