Snapped a losing run on first start back after wind surgery when seeing off 6 rivals at Kelso (21.5f) on return and backed that up with good third in Tommy Whittle at Haydock. This easier.

One-time very smart chaser for Mick Channon but not the force of old. However, current mark reflects that and was better than the bare result at Doncaster latest. Drop back in trip will suit.
Reliable sort who's creeping back down the weights (back on a winning mark now) and finished 8 lengths in front of Glen Forsa when third at Doncaster latest. Needs considering.
Thrived in the spring, winning 3 times over fences, latterly at Kempton (3m) in May. Not in same form since but return to better ground will suit.
Resumed winning ways at Newcastle last winter and signed off with pair of placed efforts at Newbury. Better than bare result both starts this term, doing too much too soon at Sandown 4 weeks ago.
Prolific hurdles winner who opened chase account at Ludlow (20f) last March. Mixed bag has followed but latest second at Chepstow was one of his better efforts, albeit flattered by proximity.
Consistent sort who won twice last summer. Excuses final start and can go well fresh but others look better treated.
Modest handicap chaser nowadays and up against it from out of the handicap. Headgear on.

Forecasts
Cool Mix (5/2), Glen Forsa (10/3), Calipso Collonges (9/2), Valadom (6/1), Broken Quest (15/2), Psychedelic Rock (12/1), Brotherly Company (14/1), Boy's On Tour (22/1)
The reliable COOL MIX looks the most solid option now that he's back on his last winning mark. Calipso Collonges often keeps better company so rates the obvious threat on the back of his good third in the Tommy Whittle at Haydock, while Glen Forsa is lurking on a dangerous mark and the drop back in trip will suit.
